OCD is the doubting disorder.


You know the saying… “when in doubt, throw it out.” For those with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (aka the doubting disorder) the “throw it out” part of that phrase only makes the doubt worse.

As is “wash it again,” “double-check that,” “ask one more time” etc…

These quick little actions are compulsions that fuel the OCD over and over again.

So—speaking to you fellow OCD-warriors—remember this instead…

“When in doubt, stick it out.”

Stick out the possibility that something could be expired or contaminated. Delay any compulsions you might want to perform.

When in doubt, stick it out… and don’t give into the OCD.
